Jubilee years are celebrated every twenty five years, and are an occasion of grace, an opportunity to renew our own commitment to Christ and to renew society, to make it more just, more in conformity to God’s vision for humanity.
The Holy Father has decided that 2025 will be a year of Jubilee, something which happens every 25 years. The theme is “Pilgrims of Hope”.
The 2025 Jubilee will officially open on December 24, 2024 at 7pm, with the rite of Opening of the Holy Door of the Papal Basilica of St. Peter by the Holy Father.
